Tourism Malaysia
Tourism Malaysia has appointed Amirul Affrin Nasir, as the director for north and east India. Prior to this appointment, he worked in the capacity of state director for Pahang till 2007. He has been associated with Tourism Malaysia since 2002, having worked in various capacities.

Mohammed Fadzil Abdullah has been appointed as the new deputy director for the South India Region. Fadzil has been associated with Tourism Malaysia since 2000

Ram Prawesh Rai has been appointed the minister, department of tourism, government of Bihar.

S B S Bhaduria, IFS, has taken over as secretary, tourism department, government of Sikkim. Prior to this apppointment, he was with the Forest, Environment and Wildlife management department

TCA Aviation Academy
TCA Aviation Academy has appointed Ritu Sood as national head of operations. A veteran with 18 years of experience in various fields of education such as faculty, administration and business development, she was last associated with another aviation academy. Before this she held the position of business development manager and principal with Shemrock chain of play schools

Vikram Kodendera has been appointed COO - Inbound of TBI. He comes with over 17 years of experience in the field of tourism
SriLankan Airlines
Manoj Gunawardena has been appointed as the chief executive officer. Gunawardena has been with the airline for over 25 years and has over 17 years of direct sales and commercial experience with the airline. Prior to this appointment, he served as head of worldwide sales and currently he is responsible for the airline's global sales activities

Flight Shop India
The Australian Flight Centre, which has recently entered the leisure travel market in India under the 'Flight Shop' banner, has appointed Gaurav Luthra as the country head of the brand in India. Prior to this appointment, Luthra served in the capacity of vice president (North & East) for FCm Travel Solutions, the corporate wing of Flight Centre
FCm Travel Solutions India
FCm Travel Solutions, a corporate travel management company in the Asia-Pacific region, has made three major appointments in an effort to streamline its expanding business in India.

Pranjal Saikia, who is the vice president (South) of FCm India, has taken over additional charge of North and East and will operate out of Delhi and Bangalore.

Tarun Bhakri, who earlier occupied the post of regional manager of sales (West & South), has been promoted to national head of sales. Bhakri has 13 years of industry experience and has been with FCm since 2004.

Punit Puri has been appointed as head of sales (North, East & West). In addition to being in charge of West Zone, Puri will also act as the regional manager of sales (north & east)

Boeing
Boeing has appointed Elizabeth Lund as vice president of product development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Lund will be responsible for leading preliminary design of new and derivative airplanes and systems, and environmental performance strategy. Lund also will manage the overall research and development plan
Tiger Airways Singapore
Rosalynn Tay has been appointed managing director of Tiger Airways Singapore. Tay joined Tiger Aviation in February 2006 as the Group Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer. Reporting directly to Tiger Aviation Group CEO Tony Davis, Tay will now be responsible for the operations and development of the group's largest operational base at Singapore's Changi Airport
