China Southern now flies daily to Guangzhou

China Southern Airlines now operates daily flights to Guangzhou, operating from its base at Guangzhou's new Baiyun International Airport.

Guangzhou is an important trading centre as well as a busy port, and the capital city of Guangdong province. It has a history of 2000 years. Its long history has left Guangzhou with a number of scenic spots and historical sites such as Six-Banyan Temple, Zhenhai Tower and Ancestral Temple of Chen Family, each of which are living witness to the historic and cultural city of Guangzhou. The modern buildings such as Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Zhongxin Plaza, Guangdong Olympic Stadium and Guangzhou New Gymnasium are among the most popular in the world.

Guangzhou is a renowned tourist city, attracting travellers from both within and out of China with its long history, haunting landscape and unique culture. It has special scenic spots and tourist attractions which bring in the bulk of tourist resources.

The Chinese Export Commodities fair popularly known as the Canton Fair is held in Guangzhou in the spring and autumn every year and is very popular among the business communities of the world. Guangzhou also hosts various food festivals every year which attract a number of visitors and participants.
