Forvol to sell North Pole, Antarctica, musical cruises

Eyes tier II, III cities for expansion

Chetan Kapoor - Mumbai

Sushil Bhatt

CEO, Forvol International Services

Shapoorji Pallonji Group-owned (S P Group) Forvol International Services is soon launching its outbound brochure featuring premium holidays for select destinations. Speaking to Express TravelWorld, Sushil Bhatt, CEO, Forvol International Services said, "The GIT market is becoming quite saturated and the operators are working on small margins. We prefer selling up-market products to esteemed clients and are able to command price for such niche products. Soon, we will be coming out with a brochure featuring special interest tours to the North Pole, Antarctica and musical cruises, besides exclusive spas and luxury yachts in Greek waters."

The company plans to attract its clientele - businessmen, crème segment - via personalised newsletters and one-to-one interactions once they show interest in the tours. "We want to understand their needs and customise the product to have a right fit for them," he explained.

On the domestic front, Forvol is also looking at releasing a domestic brochure promoting Leh & Ladakh and regions around it from a cultural perspective rather than a leisure perspective.

Further, the travel company's Pune office is now fully functional and is also looking at setting up offices in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Jalander. "Having limited resources, we believe in starting small offices that are profitable from day one. Also, we would be leveraging on the businesses in smaller tier I and II cities and towns around the metro offices. The S P Group has realised the potential in the travel and tourism industry and we will be working towards it," Bhatt informed.
