Grandeur Holidays opens Alleppey office for houseboat division

Grandeur Houseboats is a division of Grandeur Holidays, which is a Kerala registered company, formed in 2003 with a vision to provide the Indian traveller with superior quality tour facilities. The firm ensured that the services of Grandeur would be totally customer focused and would maintain their exclusivity. While the corporate office is near the Kochi International Airport, the company has recently opened a new office in Alleppey for the houseboat division. According to Ojus Sebastian, director, Grandeur Holidays, "It is very difficult to handle a guests requirements from Kochi. Hence we thought of having a separate office in Alleppey to cater to our houseboat guests. We have also started new web site: www.keralahouseboat.co.in.”

He added “We at Grandeur houseboats have all types of houseboats in our cruise line (deluxe and premium) which offer excellent accommodation facilities for the tourists. Recently we have added two-three bedroom houseboats." All the houseboats are well equipped with bath-attached bedrooms, an open lounge, deck, a kitchenette and a crew comprising of one oarsman, a cook and a guide. With over 11 houseboat and 50 professionally trained crew, they are committed to delivering you outstanding service and cruise. Presently they have one to six bedroom houseboats with facility of conference hall, which can accommodate around 200 people.

A leisure trip on these houseboats offers a panoramic view of Kerala's backwaters. Here you will get a chance to explore the greenery and the traditional village culture of Kerala. The houseboats are categorised into deluxe and premium categories. While the deluxe houseboats have facilities like, A/C timing from 9 pm to 6 am, TV with DVD player, one non-veg item for lunch and dinner and fruit basket with two fruits, their premium customers will enjoy, A/C timing 6 pm to 6 am, TV with satellite channel system, two non-veg items for lunch and dinner, fruit basket with four types of fruit, spacious bedroom and canoeing in small boat (one hour) in narrow canals.
