TAFI has once again taken the legal route to resolve issues
relating to dual pricing and fuel surcharge. According to
federation sources, the airlines were warned from time to
time to look into the matter but nothing was done and seeking
legal action was the last option.

Air temporarily suspends passenger operations from Mumbai
Taipei-based EVA Air has decided to temporarily suspend its
operations from India's financial capital of Mumbai to Taipei
starting June 1, 2008.

Work on the modernisation programme for Kolkata airport is
being delayed by over six months following objections raised
by the Planning Commission over its scale and size despite
the fact that the project was cleared last year by the Committee

BOM-MUC non-stop to be daily by October
Following Lufthansa's launch of its thrice weekly non-stop
services between Mumbai and Munich early May, Heesen announced
that these flights will turn into dailies by end-October once
the winter schedule sets in.
