RCI offers rental holiday options to members

Reema Sisodia - Mumbai

Resort Condominium International (RCI) worldwide has tied up with 20,000 hotels in city centres and popular urban destinations across the world this January. This tie up will allow its members to avail of exclusive members-only rates that are lower than the regular rack rate.

Speaking about the development, Radhika Shastry, director of Global Business Group (India & Malaysia), RCI Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd, said, "Research has it that when Indians travel abroad on holiday, it is not just to relax at beaches and hill resorts, but also to discover the great cities of the world. In order to facilitate this, RCI has doubled its efforts to fulfill this demand by bringing RCI Rental holiday options at special members-only rates in sought after urban destinations around the world."

She added that over and above the holiday exchange option available across 3,800 resorts worldwide, an RCI member now has the added advantage of access to over 20,000 properties in hundreds of cities at fabulous rates be it New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Amsterdam or Asian cities. The range of options vary from three-star to five-star hotels and rates depend on occupancy, season of travel and the star rating and location of the hotel.

Till date, RCI has sold 500 room nights in the Indian market.

Among the most popular destinations demanded by Indian RCI members are Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland (Interlaken), San Francisco and Washington.
