Cox & Kings’ French Connection

With tour agencies preparing for the outbound travel season, new destinations are being added to the repertoire without additional charge to lure in customers. Cox & Kings recently added the Chamonix Valley-Mont Blanc in France, in the Indian market for their customers, in association with Maison de la France, the French tourist office. Speaking to Express TravelWorld, Karan Anand, director, Cox & Kings, said, " Every year we identify products that will do well in the Indian market and this is part of our Research and Development efforts. Secondly, when our product team visited the destination they found that it had the right ingredients for the Indian market, be it the highest cable car ride in the world, ski resorts, and picturesque scenery."

This destination has been included in the group tour package at no additional cost, and will be included in the FIT package as per the customer requirements. They are targetting the Group Tours, FIT and the MICE market for this region. The agency is also working closely with other tourism boards such as Austrian Tourism Board. "Working closely with the boards and adding new destinations, we have seen our numbers grow substantially," Anand adds.
