The Sri Lanka Tourist Board (SLTB) has introduced a brand
new tourism marketing and promotion campaign for the Indian
market. With a stipulated budget of US$ 1 million, SLTB aims
at further increasing awareness of Sri Lanka's tourism potential
in India.

Moots Joint Council Of Indian Tourism Associations
With an aim to work in unity to address key concerns and goals
pertaining the Indian hospitality and tourism industry and
ensure a substantial success, TAAI is to collaborate with
the other industry associations from the Indian travel and
hotel sector - TAFI, FHRAI and HAI to form a 'Joint Council
Committee'.

In Talks With Other Countries For Joint Tourism Promotion
In effort to further promote Indian tourism in prime international
markets, TAAI in collaboration with the Government of India
has initiated talks with the tourism boards of China, England,
South Africa and Thailand to formulate a joint tourism promotion
plan between India and the respective countries individually.
