TAAI (NR) Conducts Interactive Session With British Representatives

The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) northern region’s general body meeting was held on August 17, 2005 at the Banquet Hall at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi. The region invited officials of the visa section of British High Commission, the VFS UK Services team and members of the Visit Britain team in India for an interactive session with their members. The British High Commission was represented by Andrea Mcglone, head of the visa section, along with Edward Bosley visa manager of the High Commission. The VFS UK Services was represented by Wg Cdr Renjan along with his entire team. The Visit Britain team was headed by Punam Singh, country manager-India along with her colleagues.

Punam Singh gave a detailed presentation about Britain as a total product and gave an over view about destinations like London and also highlighted the regions beyond London, which included Scotland and Wales. A video presentation was also shown to members by Visit Britain. This was followed by a presentation by the representatives of the British High Commission, where Edward Bosley explained in detail about the working of the High Commission in India.

TAAI, under the chairmanship of Rajji Rai, also presented a plaque to each guest in appreciation of their efforts.
