Reswell Introduces Voice Chat Facility For Travel Trade

A group of techno-nerds spotted the vast opportunity of creating a common platform for the Service Providers of Hospitality Industry such as hotels, vehicle operators, houseboat operators etc on one side and travel agents and tour organisers on the other. The lack of proper and readily retrievable information was the hindrance between them conducting business more efficiently and often travellers fall victim for it.

The endeavour was painful but their vision was clear and finally the result was encouraging. They succeeded in organising the details of Hotels, Vehicle Operators, Houseboat owners etc. into freely flowing sets of usable information. They also made structured reservation sheets enabling travel agents to send systematic online bookings to hotels and other service providers with organised system generated telefaxes to notify them instantly about online reservations. And thus the Reswell Venture got underway. Efficient and organised professional systems to generate and handle reservations from world over.

Some of their services include:

  • Direct connectivity with travel and tour organisers across the world
  • Fax confirmation of reservation
  • Alert any member travel agent regarding any reservation query with personalised SMS, etc.
  • Every reservation comes in a neatly printable format with entire details of the concerned travel agent
  • All information pertaining to the service provider is provided on easily retrievable and modifiable format
  • Freedom to provide special rates to special agents and different tariffs for various seasons
  • Automatic generation of invoice against reservation
  • Modification of any content to incorporate any negotiation or commitment
  • Ease to add/edit/delete information
  • Facility for receiving reservation payments from travel agents through online banking channels
  • A world class bidding facility, which is under development, using which answers to RFQ (Request For Quotation) from travel agents can be answered in minutes
  • The facility to allocate rooms to Reswell (for hotels)

The latest introduction is the DIRECT 'Telephone like' voice chat facility between members. This will reduce Telephone bills to the base minimum. A Reswell member can talk to any other Reswell member anywhere in the world at zero cost. There is also a 'Text Chat' facility with 'save & print' option. This helps to record discussions.
