Chennai Airport Set For Major Expansion
The Chennai airport is undertaking a host of initiatives to ensure that becomes one of the top airports in the country. The Airports Authority of India has spent close to Rs 1.5 crore and has lined up many more initiatives.

Thai Airways To Increase Capacity, Fly Hyderabad
Thai Airways International, which currently has daily flights to Mumbai and Delhi, five flights to Kolkata, four flights to Chennai and five flights to Bangalore, has planned to commence operations to Hyderabad by October.

Jagson Airlines Introduces Low Fare Flights To Rajasthan
Jagson Airlines, the private domestic carrier, has recently joined the low-cost bandwagon by launching its low-fare flights to Jaipur, Udaipur and Jaisalmer from Delhi and has drawn up plans to connect Kolkata with Nagpur at a later date.

Air Arabia Commences India Services
Travel to the Gulf is set to become more affordable with the launch of the first international low cost carrier in India - Air Arabia. Having touched down on India on March 26, 2005, the carrier plans to make its mark in Indian air travel. Rohit Ramachandran, manager - India, Air Arabia elaborated to Express Travel & Tourism about his carrier's plans to tap the Indian traveller
