Vusacom India Launches Its Website

Visit USA Committee India (VUSACOM India) has launched its website (www.vusacomindia.com) which will serve as a one-stop shop for all USA related information, especially pertaining to the travel trade.

Lalit Seth, chairman, Vusacom India, said, “The website has all the information which most members of the trade would wish to have on USA. It will help build stronger business links and more free flow of information between members besides providing detailed information to the general audience. It will also improve connectivity between Indian and US travel agents. There will be quicker and faster communication between members.”

The website provides information on various areas such as:

  • Detailed list of all airports across America. The features and facilities of each airport, both big and small, is mentioned in the website.
  • Detailed listing of all airlines in the USA. Travellers can log on and get accurate information on arrivals, departures and route taken by each airline.
  • The See America website is linked through the Vusacom India website, providing a highly comprehensive guide on all information on America.
  • Greyhound and Amtrack. which deal with road services and rail services respectively within USA, is also part of the website.
  • Facility to download the logo of the organisation is also provided.
  • Registration forms can be downloaded.
  • Complete information on Visa procedures have been provided in the website.
  • Regular news updates on the US including business, travel related information is featured.
  • Vusacom India related activities and events along with a photo gallery can be found in the website.

Ravi Pikle, secretary, Vusacom India, said, “It’s a first of its kind website for USA in the Indian travel market. This unique tool is the manifestation of the fact that we want to make Vusacom a user-friendly organisation and a dynamic platform for trade related dialogues, feedback and interaction.”

Speaking about the association’s future plans, Dharmendra Gursahani, treasurer, Vusacom India, said, “We intend to expand the association in other cities. Vusacom India Pune chapter will be operational soon. It will be headed by Captain Pramod Kohli, managing director, Lancer Travels. Setting up of the Gujarat chapter is also in the pipeline. The website is expected to act as a major booster to spread the association’s network across India.”
